Venture Atlanta 2025: Visual Design System
Scaling a sophisticated brand identity into a dynamic "Living Blueprint" for the stage.

problem
Venture Atlanta required a high-fidelity activation of their brand identity capable of anchoring 125+ deliverables for over 1,300 attendees and 350+ investment funds. The challenge was to translate established brand guidelines into a digital ecosystem that felt as kinetic as the 49 companies pitching on stage. We needed to architect a visual language for the 'Moments That Matter' theme that could support the massive LED scale of the Woodruff Arts Center while maintaining brand integrity.
solution
The Living Blueprint. Utilizing the event’s established brand toolkit, I collaborated with the PullSpark team to develop the 'Living Blueprint'—an event-specific creative layer designed to visualize the nonlinear path from idea to IPO. I established three distinct execution paths—Creating & Opening Doors, Organic Growth, and Celebrating Innovation—to provide a flexible framework for the production team. By defining these 'operating rules' for geometric forms and evolving gradients, we ensured every asset remained cohesive across a high-volume delivery schedule.
The Execution
Orchestrating the Digital Stage. With the conceptual framework stabilized, I shifted into execution to facilitate the attendee experience across the event’s digital touchpoints.
01. The Stage Experience The primary interface for the event was the massive LED stage wall. I designed the UI for general sessions, translating the "Living Blueprint" aesthetic into high-fidelity backdrops for speakers like Mayor Andre Dickens and Garrett Langley. The goal was to create digital environments that framed the speakers with sophisticated movement.
02. Systems for Scale To manage the volume of 49 pitching companies, I developed a master presentation system. This governed the layout logic for nearly 90 decks, ensuring that founders across seed, early-stage, and growth tracks presented a unified, premium brand presence to the investment funds in the room.
03. Secondary Brand Logic To drive visual energy for specific segments, we utilized a tiered color system. While the primary "Welcome" moments leaned into cool blues and teals, we deployed a vibrant magenta and orange palette for high-energy sessions like the "Startup Showcase Live," providing a clear visual shift in the attendee journey.
